The Best Headphones For Kid

The Best Headphones For Kid

Here are three things to consider when looking at headphones/earbuds or earphones for your kids: price, durability, and sound quality. There are many different brands out there offering children's headphones ranging anywhere from 10 bucks to 100 bucks!

The number one thing I recommend is that you DO NOT buy headphones for your kids that cost over 100 bucks. There is no need to spend a fortune on earphones for your toddler, and you will likely be unpleasantly surprised by the sound quality. The reason I say they should only cost $50 or less is because we all know how rough our little ones can be with their stuff and they really won't sound very good even if you do pay more than $100 for them! If you're looking for some of the best and most durable headphones for your toddlers then please read on, my friends.

JBL JR300

JBL JR300

The JBL JR 300  are great wireless children's headphones. They are built with durability in mind and, while the sound quality may not be the best, it is more than sufficient for a child's use in a busy household. The JBL JR300 will only run you about $24 and they come in a variety of colors! They're made out of a flexible plastic that forms to the shape of your little ones' heads without being too tight or uncomfortable.

I've never had an issue with them falling off my son's head while he's running around all over the place, which is great because toddlers can be very rough on their 'phones. They also have a relatively nice sound when compared to other children's headphones [I have tried]. The volume goes up pretty loud so keep this in mind when letting your kids use them, especially if you have little ones that are easily startled.

Overall, the JBL JR300 is a great choice as it has excellent durability and good sound quality for such a low cost.

LilGadgets Untangled Pro

JLilGadgets Untangled Pro

The LilGadgets Untangled Pro is one of the best kids' wireless headphones you can buy. They also seem to be one of the most durable pairs of children's headphones and they come in lots and lots (and lots!) of different colors and styles/designs! The earpieces swivel inward to fit onto your toddler's head without squeezing too tight or making them uncomfortable.

The band that goes over their head is padded with embroidered fleece lining that feels very comfortable against their skin and they do not get too hot wearing them. They work over Bluetooth so you can listen to them from your TV, phone, laptop, or tablet! They also come with a built-in mic so you can answer calls hands free while looking like a dork talking into the side of your head.

I know what I said about the JBL JR300 having good sound quality; well, these headphones actually have great sound quality compared with the JBL JR300! The only problem is that they aren't as durable as the JBL JR 300. If your kids tend to be on their phones/tablets all day then you may want to consider getting them these instead since the band tends to break after around 7 months of daily use. Puro Sound Labs JuniorJams

Puro Sound Labs JuniorJams

Puro Sound Labs Junior Jams are some of the best wireless headphones for kids ever! They are made from a durable plastic that is flexible but strong. The band adjusts to fit your child's head with ease and does not squeeze them uncomfortably.

They come in a variety of colors, have a built-in mic so you can take calls hands free, and they only cost around $79! They also have great sound quality--as good as any other pair of children's headphones I have tried.

If there was one thing I would want Puro to do it would be to add some kind of indicator that shows how much battery is left in each ear cup. But, overall, these are some really great headphones! My only complaint is that because they are made out of plastic they can be a tad uncomfortable at times when worn for long periods of time. Available on Amazon

Noot Products K11

Noot Products K11

The Noot Products K11 is only around $19 and have amazing sound quality. The mids and highs come through crisp and clear while the bass does not overshadow them at all--I was pleasantly surprised to hear how much I liked their audio quality!

They come in lots of different colors but my favorite has to be the 'mint' color. You know because kids are always eating slime and popsicles that they will want headphones to match the colors of their slime/lollipops.

Aesthetics aside, these headphones are pretty durable but probably not as durable as the JBL JR300; however, if your kids tend to be rougher on their toys then you might want to consider getting them these instead. Check It Out

JLab Studio

JLab Studio

My next favorite wireless headphones for little ones is the JLab Studio. Like all JLab products, they have great audio quality. The highs and mids come through nice and crisp while the bass does not overpower anything at all.

These also come in lots of different colors so if aesthetics is your thing then you'll be happy with these! They also have built-in mics so you can take calls hands free. My only concern is that the band is pretty thin on these, which makes them sit more on their head than on top of it like most other headphones for kids do…which isn't necessarily a bad thing though.

BuddyPhones InFlight Headphones

BuddyPhones InFlight Headphones

BuddyPhones InFlight Headphones are around $40 and is one of the many kid's headphones I have found that block out all outside sounds. I loved this feature because my son was able to listen to his music without blasting it at full volume; plus, if he was wearing them on an airplane then he didn't have to worry about being too loud for other people.
